MEASURE 'E'

On June 6, 2006, Measure E was approved by the voters. This initiative became effective October 1, 2006 and expires on September 30, 2018. The City’s local sales tax (a.k.a. Measure H) expired on June 30, 2006. Questions regarding sales tax expiration and/or activation should be directed to the State Board of Equalization at (800) 400-7115.

The new transaction and use tax must be charged on all tangible personal property that is delivered or placed into use within the Woodland city limits.

MEASURE 'V'

On June 8, 2010 , Measure V was approved by the voters. This additional sales tax was proposed in response to anticipated reductions in Public Safety and Parks & Recreation as well as possible closure of the City's Library.  Please direct any questions or inquries to the Finance Department as indicated above.
