On April 10, 2013, the administration of Fourth and Hope contacted the Woodland Police Department regarding a loss of money that was possibly stolen by an employee. The Fourth and Hope organization works to provide services for the homeless population in the City of Woodland and throughout Yolo County.

Woodland Police Department Detectives conducted an investigation which revealed that the Executive Director of Fourth and Hope, Leona Jull, 46 year Arbuckle resident, had stolen approximately $30,000.00 using a department Visa credit card that had been entrusted to her as part of her employment duties. Jull had stolen the money over the past three years and spent the money on personal property.

The case was forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office and a complaint was filed charging Jull with Felony Grand Theft.  The District Attorney requested an arrest warrant for Jull which was issued by the court on August 9, 2013. Last night Jull was arrested by the Colusa County Sheriff’s Department. Jull was booked into the Colusa County Jail on charges of grand theft with a bail of $20,000.00. A court date will be scheduled for her to be arraigned in the Yolo County Superior Court.
