TRAILERS STOLEN FROM THE CITY OF WOODLAND MUNICIPAL SERVICES CENTER

On 6-24-13, at about 0730 hrs., Woodland Police Officer were dispatched to 655 N Pioneer Ave, City of Woodland's Municipal Service Center.  When officers arrived on scene they were notified that sometime from 6-22-13 about 1700 hrs. to 6-24-13 at 0730 hrs an unknown suspect/suspects cut the chainlink gate allowing them access to the premises.

The suspect/suspects entered the premises and stole two box trailers.  One of the box trailers contained miscellaneous tools and roadway signage.  The total loss of this trailer and its contents were estimated at $100,000.  The second box trailer was estimated to be a loss of $17,000.

Woodland Police officers immediately notified the surrounding law enforcement agencies of the theft.

One of the trailers was recovered by a Yolo County Sheriff's Deputy and returned to the City of Woodland.  No one was arrested in association to the recovery.

There is no suspect information at this time pending further investigation.
