| KNIGHTS LANDING MAN BEATEN AND ROBBED

On 12-05-2012 at 12:19 a.m. Officers of the Woodland Police Department responded to Woodland Memorial Hospital for a victim of an assault. The victim, 46 year old Knights Landing resident Elivorio Cano, was being treated for non-life threatening head injuries.
Cano said he was walking near Freeman Park, 1001 Main St. in Woodland, when three white male adults attacked him. One of the suspects hit Cano in the head with an unknown object, possibly a bottle of some type. Cano was knocked down and lost his wallet. After the suspects fled Cano recovered his wallet but discovered his money had been taken from it.
There was an attempt robbery in the same area. The attempt robbery occurred on 11-18-2012 near Third St. north of Lincoln Av. One of the victims of that attempt robbery was also hit in the head with an unknown object by a white male adult suspect.
