On Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at approximately 6:00 P.M., Woodland Police Officers responded to an in-progress commercial burglary at 420 Grand Avenue. When the officers arrived on scene they found the front window to the business smashed out. After establishing a perimeter around the building, officers located a Hispanic Male Adult, later identified as Woodland resident Francisco Javier Tapia Jr. (D.O.B.: 03/29/77), inside the business. Tapia was arrested without incident for burglary. Tapia was booked into the Yolo County Jail on one count of burglary and his bail was set at $20,000.00.
