    Join us Monday through Thursday for our Afterschool Program, geared to kids aged 5-12. This program meets in the children's room from 3:30-4:30 (except crafts once a month are in Square One). Mondays: Mystery Monday - every week we have a new DIY project or activity out; Tuesdays: Board Game Day - play with our selection of board games; Wednesday: Arts and Crafts - create cool projects to take home; Thursdays: Lego Club - build with our Lego collection and display your creation in the Imaginarium.

    Teen volunteers are available to help elementary school students with their homework every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon! Students meet in the front main area of the library. Basic school supplies and a light snack are available. Homework Help is free and is first come, first served. Volunteers do not show up during winter and spring breaks.

  1. Woodshop BUS

    October 2, 2018, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Woodland Public Library

    Learn how to safely use the panel saw, drill press, band saw, scroll saw, disc sander, and belt sander in Square One! This one hour class will cover the basics of safe operation. Successful completion allows the patron to return to Square One during open shop hours to use this equipment. Participants must be 18 or older, bring a valid library card and ID, have a signed waiver on file, and wear close-toed shoes.

  2. Sewing BUS

    This course is an introduction to using the sewing machine stations and sewing tools in Square One. This course is not intended to be a sewing technique course. Students will learn the safe operation of sewing machines and basic sewing tools. Upon successful completion of this course students will be authorized to use the sewing machines and tools during open shop hours. Participants must be 12 or older, bring a valid library card and ID, have a signed waiver on file, and wear close-toed shoes.
