Anticipated Construction Start Date: September 4, 2019
This is a repairs project that will address many deficiencies inside deep sewer mains and manholes, primarily in the Spring Lake area. Generally, sewers are designed for a service life of 50 to 100 years, but the pipes identified in this project are less than 20 years old and are in significantly deteriorated conditions. Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) and manhole injection grouting will be used to rehabilitate 800 feet of deep sewers and seal multiple manholes. The repairs are expected to succeed without excavation in the streets; however, open-cut excavation may be necessary if pipe conditions deteriorate further.
