What is the City Doing to Address Homelessness?

In 2017, the City Council endorsed development of a comprehensive Homeless Action Plan to more proactively guide how we address homeless issues. The Action Plan lays out specific strategies for managing the impacts of homelessness while we continue to focus on long-term solutions to address the problem of homelessness.

Some of the projects and strategies identified in the plan are being implemented, while others are still being evaluated. Staff will continue to refine the specific elements of the plan in consultation with the Homeless Sub-Committee as well as the larger community of stakeholders.
