Downtown Hotel

Project Overview:

In March 2016, the City Council approved a Conditional Use Permit for the construction of a 63,179 square foot, 81 room Home2 Suites by Hilton on 1.146 acres at 1021 Main Street.  The proposed extended stay hotel will provide accommodation for travelers on leisure or work related stays within the heart of Historic Woodland within walking distance to dining, entertainment, and retail amenities.  The proposed hotel will include a small porte-cochere entryway, main lobby, two meeting rooms of approximately 800 square feet each, a fitness room, an indoor pool and approximately 6,810 square feet of retail, restaurant and café space fronting Main Street.  These retail/dining spaces will open out on to Main Street and Freeman Park, utilizing full roll-up/tilt-up doors to allow for an open-air dining experience.  Patio areas adjacent to Main Street and Freeman Park include outdoor seating/dining opportunities. It is anticipated that the project will break ground in Fall 2018.
